Brief description

Introductory flying experiences in vintage aeroplanes & modern aircraft, training for private pilots liscences & advanced aerobatic training. Specialist aircraft maintenance.Once airborne your instructor will demonstrate the manoeuvres & allow you the opportunity to fly the Biplane yourself. For all flights longer than 30 mins, if you are feeling adventurous, there is even time to view the World turned upside-down in some aerobatic manoeuvres like a loop or a victory roll but it’s not compulsory

Probably one of the most experienced woman pilots in Great Britain, Tizi's over 13,000 hours include 5000 flying big jets and many patient hours spent instructing everything from basic flying skills, through aerobatics and training experienced pilots to get their commercial licences and instrument ratings. She spent several years bush flying in Africa, a season as a full time formation aerobatic display pilot flying an RF4 with the Unipart Team (a favourite on the airshow circuit in the 1980's).

If you are learning to fly for fun, the aircraft you fly should be fun to fly, not just a motor-car with wings. Our Slingsby T67M and Fournier RF6 combine incredibly light, responsive controls with a delightful all round view and a superb aerobatic capability (that’s why the military use them for their elementary flying training courses). You don’t need to do any aerobatics to get a Private Pilot’s License, but it’s nice to know you can and the aeroplane is strong enough for it.
