Amazing!
John Vickers, the multi-talented player, maker, restorer, repairer and salesman of so many stringed instruments, is the proprietor of this gem of a music shop in Cheltenham. He makes the best gypsy jazz guitars in the world (according to 'Performing Musician'), is extremely friendly and welcoming and is full of stories, knowledge and jokes for everyone. He has maintained all my violins for the last ten years brilliantly. He has a large following of clients ranging from amateurs to high-flying professionals. I can't recommend this business too highly for lovers of stringed instruments.
