Eyelash etc. etc.

I've been going here for years to buy wool for clothes and toy making. This time I needed 'eyelash' for a pirate's beard! All kinds of yarn, patterns, needles etc. The lady who runs the shop will know where everything is so do ask - there's more "behind the scenes". You will also find interesting secondhand clothes, jewellery, and brick a brack adjacent.

5mm double pointed needles

Living midway between Gloucester and Stroud, I tried Gloucester for 5mm double pointed needles. Hobbycraft didn't have them nor the wool stalls in the Eastgate Market. I came home and surfed the Internet and lo' and behold I found them in Yarnarama in Stroud. What an Alladin's cave. I will certainly come here first for my knitting or sewing requirements. Most helpful staff.
